Who We Are

Cornerstone Church began on April 27, 1996 with 84 charter members under the leadership of Ronny and Norma Thomason on Jacksonville Florida's east side. The current membership of Cornerstone Church consists of people from several nationalities, races and religious backgrounds.  All followers of Jesus Christ and filled with His Holy Spirit,
we are deeply committed to the Great Commission of the Church to go into all the world, making disciples of all nations and teaching people to follow the commandments of Christ.

Rather than seeing ourselves as a "Multi-Cultural" Congregation, we seek the culture of Christ and the unity He brings to our diversity. We follow the biblical tradition of Christ dying for the whole world and the truth that there is only One Body, One Faith, One Church, One Father, and One Lord, Jesus Christ.  We look beyond color and race to see the beauty of the Lord in each one who has received Him. We love one another fervently, with pure hearts made clean by His Blood and His Word.

Everyone who is like minded is welcome at Cornerstone Church.

We meet for worship and Pastoral Preaching each Sunday Morning from 10:00 a.m. until Noon and for Bible Classes on Wednesday Evenings from 7:30 to 8:30.
Our meeting place is at 4549 St. Augustine Road just one mile North of University Blvd.
